Gabro, since 1909, is a brand of Gagi Olearia, a company specialized for over a century in the production of Calabrian extra virgin olive oil.
The company was founded in the town of Cassano allo Ionio, in the fertile plains of Sibari (Piana di Sibari), with a small olive mill. Over time, several hectares of olive groves were added, reaching today’s size of 220 hectares cultivated with some of the area’s most typical olive varieties.

Gagi Olive Oil Company

Tradition with a Vision for the Future

Today, the company is run by the fourth generation of the family: sisters Giovanna and Gabriella Brogna, who carry forward the company’s philosophy of respect for the land, sustainability, and commitment to quality.
The Gabro brand was established in 1985 from the merger of the two-family businesses: the Brogna olive mill and the Gatto olive grove. This union gave new momentum to our olive oil, allowing us to enter the market more effectively and offer consumers a product that meets evolving demands: high quality, attention to health and safety, environmental sustainability, and full supply chain traceability.
In fact, Gabro was among the first Italian olive oils to be certified organic (BIO) back in 1988.
